LSC Webinar Series Making the Case: Spaces that Prepare Students for Productive and Meaningful Lives

When: Tuesday, October 20th
Time: 2:30pm
Where: Armory 432

Join us for a thoughtful webinar featuring national college administrators from across the disciplines who are “making the case” for classroom environments that support collaborative teaching and learning methods. The webinar will be held on Tuesday, October 20 (2:30pm) in one of the new iFLEX classrooms on this campus, 432 Armory. Refreshments will be served. The webinar is free for faculty and staff.

Higher education strives to equip students with advanced skills in reading, math, and science, but research shows that graduates are entering the workforce with a surprising lack of skills in creative thinking, teamwork, and problem solving. Can flexible learning spaces help prepare students to work in diverse, multidisciplinary teams, learn to be comfortable with ambiguity, and be inquisitive and analytical?
