The Instructional Space Improvement initiative (ISI) is a 70 million dollar, 5-year plan for infrastructure and technology upgrades to classrooms and labs at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

“These remodels are not simply about upgrading aging classrooms and labs; they are about ensuring our future. They will maximize a new blended learning model of lecture and online learning, and encourage collaboration and interaction in physical spaces that are functional, comfortable, and inspiring.”
Chancellor Phyllis Wise, January 2012
